Position Overview


The Proposal & Business Development Lead will play a central role in driving growth initiatives by leading end-to-end proposal development and identifying new business opportunities. This individual will collaborate across technical and operational teams, develop competitive positioning strategies, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, analytical capability, and strong communication skills to support expansion efforts and funding pursuits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle, from opportunity identification through submission
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment in proposals
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to inform strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Represent the organization in external engagements, including meetings and industry events
  • Support strategic initiatives aimed at growth, partnership expansion, and funding acquisition


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development, business development, or related functions
  • Strong analytical skills, including market research and financial analysis
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and supporting negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a remote environment


Work Environment & Travel

  • Fully remote position within the United States
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, or team collaboration
